§ Mr. Harold LeverIn the guidance which has been given to the banks on direction of lending, the category with the highest priority includes lending for export transactions, finance for production and investment necessary to sustain increased exports, the promotion of invisible earnings, and, as in the case of agriculture, securing savings in imports.
