Mr. Marks

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity when she proposes to review the functions and organisation of the Central Training Council in accordance with the recommendation in the Ninth Report of the Estimates Committee in 1967.

My right hon. Friend has just appointed a small committee under the chairmanship of Mr. Cousins, Chairman of the Central Training Council, to carry out this review and to report.
