§ Mr. Bagierasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government how many houses are scheduled for demolition in the county borough of Sunderland for the years 1969, 1970 and 1971; and how many were cleared under slum clearance programmes in the years 1945 to 1968.
§ Mr. MacCollSlum clearance was not resumed after the war until 1955. Between 1955 and 1968 Sunderland County Borough demolished 5,317 unfit houses as follows:
