§ Mr. Palmerasked the Minister of Technology if he will make available a summary of the particular scientific and technical subjects on which information has been exchanged between the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the United Kingdom under the terms of the agreement for co-operation in the fields of science and technology other than that available from open international publication in the normal tradition of science engineering and technology.
§ Mr. BennThere are no formal intergovernmental exchanges of information as such under the terms of the AngloSoviet Technological Agreement. Its objects are to encourage closer contacts between Soviet and British industry, and to identify specific opportunities for promoting industrial collaboration and trade between the two countries. Information made available by either side is directed towards these ends.
