§ 56. Mr. Will Owenasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will give the House a progress report on the European Export Council, indicating its composition and grant.
§ Mrs. Gwyneth DunwoodyThe Export Council for Europe forms part of the British National Export Council and shares in the grant made to that body. Its membership includes representatives of industry and Government Departments. It continues to play an active part in promoting exports to Western Europe. Last year it was heavily involved in arrangements for the British Trade Drive in Denmark, and the British Week in Stockholm. This year it is similarly involved in the forthcoming British Week in Vienna.
