§ Mr. DellThe Companies Act, 1967, strengthened the supervisory powers of the Board of Trade over insurance companies. I am not convinced that it would be desirable or practicable to adopt the suggestion of my hon. Friend, but I am very ready to consider any specific proposals which seem desirable in the public interest and acceptable to the various interests involved.
