HC Deb 24 July 1969 vol 787 cc460-1W
Q25. Mr. Hugh Jenkin

asked the Prime Minister whether as Co-Chairman under the Geneva Agreements he will take the opportunity of the visit of the President of the United States of America to this country to press for full implementation of the 1954 Agreements.

The Prime Minister

Although Vietnam is among the subjects which President Nixon and I may discuss at our meeting, my hon. Friend will recall that observance of the 1954 Geneva Accords by all parties has always been the policy of Her Majesty's Government and was part of the eight-point plan for bringing peace to Vietnam put forward in President Nixon's television address of 14th May.
