HC Deb 24 July 1969 vol 787 c445W
Sir B. Janner

asked the President of the Board of Trade what action he proposes to take following the Report on the Location of Offices Bureau on the restriction of office development outside London.

Mrs. Gwyneth Dunwoody

My right hon. Friend announced in the House on 30th January, 1969, certain relaxations in the scope and operation of the control on office development and we do not think it would be right to make further changes at this stage. We shall continue to keep a close watch on the effects of the control on the movement of office firms out of London.—[Vol. 777, c. 372–3.]
