Mr. PearlNo photographs by members of the public is allowed within the Commons part of the Palace of Westminster, including New Palace Yard, without a permit: this restriction is necessary for the privacy of Members. There is, however, nothing to stop members of the public taking photographs of the Palace from outside the precincts.
