§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Prime Minister in view of the fact that Mr. Aubrey Jones has resigned as full-time Chairman of the National Board for Prices and Incomes and has accepted another full-time appointment at a salary above £15,000, why he has offered him a part-time appointment with the National Board for Prices and Incomes.
§ The Prime MinisterThe possibility of Mr. Jones remaining with the board as a part-time member has been discussed with him. No doubt his experience would make a valuable contribution to the future work of the board.
