§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will now make a statement regarding his discussions and negotiations with the West Germany Government on their contribution towards the support costs of British troops in Germany.
§ Mr. MulleyI had a further round of talks with State Secretary Harkort on 16th July. Agreement was reached in principle, and both delegations are now reporting back to their Governments. I am not in a position to make a more detailed statement today but hope it will be possible to do so shortly.
