§ The Attorney-GeneralThe services of a Welsh interpreter are used in any case in Wales or Monmouthshire in which a person wishes to speak in Welsh and Welsh interpreters are not appointed to the courts on any regular basis, but are available when required. No record is kept of their employment and interpreters are not given special training for work in the courts, nor is such special training required.
