§ 81. Mr. Milneasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will furnish details in regard to the number of advance factories built in the Blyth constituency, the area of space occupied by these factories and the jobs provided in each year since 1961 to the latest available date.

§ Mrs. Gwyneth DunwoodySix Board of Trade advance factories have been built in the Blyth constituency since 1961 with a total area of 275,000 sq. ft. I cannot give the number of jobs year by year but total employment at present is 1,500 with a further 700 jobs expected.
