Mr. David Priceasked the Minister of Technology when he will announce detailed proposals for the future objectives, structure and staffing of the Atomic Energy Authority, arising out of the reorganisation of the nuclear engineering industry and of the creation of a separate nuclear fuel company.
§ Mr. BennAs I said in my letter to the Chairman of the Select Committee on Science and Technology published in the Committee's Third Special Report, we have to consider with very great care326W how the Authority's resources can best be deployed in future and fitted into the Government's research and development complex so that they can make the maximum possible contribution to the national welfare. This consideration is proceeding.
