The cost of dealing with claims for refund of Selective Employment Tax is estimated at £1.4 million a year. The cost of administering the import deposit scheme is estimated286W and Japan, based on information he derives from international organisations.

at £400,000 for a full year, of which half is attributable to the refund work.
