§ Mr. William Priceasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many vacancies for probation officers in the Midlands existed at the last date for which figures are available.
§ Mr. Elystan MorganProbation and after-care authorities in the East and West Midlands reported in October last that they expected to have 28 vacancies for basic grade probation officers by the end of 1968. At present these authorities have 416 established basic grade officers in post.
