§ Mrs. Ewingasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will define the relationship between the Scottish Transport Users Consultative Committee and the proposed Scottish Transport Group.
§ Mr. RossIt is the duty of the Scottish Transport Users Consultative Committee to consider and, where it appears to it to be desirable, make recommendations with respect to any matter affecting the services and facilities provided by the Scottish Transport Group, except the Group's road passenger services and certain other ancillary services and facilities. The Group may refer matters to the Consultative Committee for consideration.
