asked the Minister of Technology when he expects to announce details of projects he is supporting in the development of vertical take-off and landing aircraft.

No specific proposals for support for any civil VTOL project have been received. None will be considered until we have completed the wide range of studies that I described in the House on 14th October last.—[Vol. 770, c. 16.]
