asked the Secretary of State for Economic Affairs what further action is proposed to implement the plans for economic development in South Yorkshire published recently by the Yorkshire and Humberside Economic Planning Council.

Mr. Urwin

The economic development needs of the area to which the Economic Planning Council's proposals relate will be further considered in the light of the recommendations of the Hunt Committee.
