HC Deb 12 February 1969 vol 777 c313W
88. Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the President of the Board of Trade to what extent the Government's recently announced retrictions on imports has reduced the import of fruit machines, juke-boxes and similar machines; and whether he will publish a table of figures giving the sterling and, or, foreign currency that has been spent on these types of imports for the longest and latest convenient periods of time, and dates.

Mrs. Gwyneth Dunwoody

It is too early to consider the effect of the import deposit scheme. I will, with permission, circulate a run of import figures in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
