§ Mr. Nobleasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what progress he has made in his scheme to persuade businesses or others to make a greater use of homegrown timber, in view of the large quantities still on the ground after last January's gale.
§ Mr. RossGovernment Departments, local authorities and wood-using industries were asked to use more home-grown 99W timber. Since there is no lack of demand for the windblown timber, this appeal seems to be achieving its effect.
