asked the Minister of Power what is the percentage margin of spare electrical generating capacity now available; and how this compares with the margin set as a target by the Central Electricity Generating Board.

21 per cent., which compares with the Central Electricity Generating Board's present planning margin for six years ahead of 17 per cent.
