§ Mr. MurrayThe British Railways Board have submitted to my right hon. Friend proposals as to the manner in which they intend to carry on activities380W of manufacture and repair for outside persons under Section 48 (2) of the Transport Act, 1968, and manufacture for the purpose of the business of the Board, and of other nationalised transport authorities, under Section 13 of the Transport Act, 1962. We hope to make a statement on these proposals shortly. Proposals have not yet been submitted by the other authorities to which Section 48 (4) of the Act applies.
