asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity if she will make a statement on the effect of the Government's productivity, prices and incomes policy during the past year; and when she now expects to bring forward her proposals for future policy on this matter.

Mrs. Castle

The White Paper on the productivity, prices and incomes policy after 1969, which I expect will be published next week, will contain a review of the operation of the policy.

56. Mr. Bruce-Gardyne

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity if she will now make a state-

days lost at the establishments where the disputes occurred as a result of all stoppages in progress in the same periods were 156,00 and 1,422,000, respectively. All figure for 1069 are provisional.
