§ 83. Mr. Dodds-Parkerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will seek to reach an agreement with the other free Powers that Herr Hess should be allowed to spend Christmas at home with his family.
§ Mr. FoleyTogether with the French and the Americans, we have repeatedly sought Russian consent for the release of Herr Hess; our most recent approach was made early this summer. However, to date the Russians have refused their consent. The hon. Member may rest assured that we shall continue our efforts.
