asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he proposes, when constituting the English Tourist Board, to include representatives from the official regional travel associations.

It is intended that the English Tourist Board, for which the Development of Tourism Bill now provides, should have a compact functional membership. Members will have such experience as will enable them to contribute usefully to the growth of tourism but they will not be representatives or delegates for particular geographical or sectional interests.
