The Minister of State or I will take the chair. The working party has been set up to assist me pending the establishment of the new service for the regular visiting and scrutiny of hospitals. It will advise on the scope and formation of the new service and other matters of policy arising from the Ely Hospital report, including the conditions in long-stay hospitals and the procedures for dealing with complaints. The Welsh Office will be associated through an observer.
