§ 60. Mr. Rankinasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what channels of communication are permitted between Peterhead and Porterfield prisons; and whether he will appoint an independent committee to inquire into conditions at both prisons.
§ Mr. BuchanA prisoner serving a sentence is not normally permitted to communicate with a prisoner in another prison. I see no reason to institute any special inquiry into conditions at Peterhead and Inverness Prisons.
