§ Mr. William Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what new plans he has for improving the pay and conditions of nurses within the National Health Service, in view of the 274W fact that as a result of now having to pay separately for all meals taken at hospitals, many nurses are worse off financially after taking into account the recent pay award.
