§ Mr. PrenticeThe total of budgetary grants-in-aid paid to St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla since Associated Statehood is £585,000. Total Colonial Development and Welfare aid expended in the same period is about £370,000, subject to confirmation of the figures for 1968–69. The bulk of the 1968–70 Colonial Development and Welfare allocation of £520,000 has, however, so far remained unspent at the request of the State Government with a view to its application towards improvements to the airfield at Golden Rock.
