asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what steps he proposes to take to mark the occasion of the opening of the Cleveland Way.

The Cleveland Way will be officially opened by my hon. Friend the Joint Parliamentary Secretary—the hon. Member for Hayes and Harlington (Mr. Skeffington)—on 24th May, at a ceremony organised by the Countryside Commission at Helmsley Castle, Helmsley, Yorkshire.

The presence of hon. Members would be welcomed.
