§ Mr. Geoffrey Lloydasked the Minister for the Civil Service what is his policy regarding the employment in the Civil Service of workers between the ages of 65 and 69 who are fit and willing to work; and to what extent his policy has the support of the National Joint Advisory Council.
§ Mrs. HartDepartments may employ them provided that they are efficient and there is a need for their services. This general policy is of long standing and we have not consulted the Council about it.
