HC Deb 02 April 1969 vol 781 c115W
Mr. James Bennett

asked the Secretary of State for Defence what study he has made of the evidence submitted to him by the hon. Member for Glasgow, Bridgeton, that hydrofoils are being developed extensively abroad for military use; and what consideration has been given to the use of hydrofoils within the United Kingdom's defence programme.

Mr. John Morris

Possible naval uses for hydrofoils are kept under continuing review. I am writing to the hon. Member about the evidence referred to in the first part of the Question.
