§ Mr. John MackiePresumably the hon. Member is referring to a hearing conducted by the Controller of Plant Variety Rights into an application made to him under Part I of the Plant Varieties and Seeds Act 1964 for the grant of a compulsory licence in respect of the Belgian wheat variety CAMA. The Controller has concluded his enquiry and his decision to refuse the application has been communicated to the parties concerned. The reasons for the decision will be published in the Plant Varieties and Seeds Gazette at the end of this month. The decision is subject to appeal.
