75. Mr. Fletcher-Cookasked the Minister of Transport what plans he has to bring under the compulsory supervision of the Inspectorate of Weights and Measures tyre pressure gauges in garages.
§ Mr. MarshI have no powers of compulsion and am not planning to seek them. My policy is to encourage more weights and measures authorities to adopt systems of checking tyre pressure gauges on a voluntary basis as is already done by many of them.
