§ Mr. Andersonasked the Secretary of State for Wales whether he will refer to the National Board for Prices and Incomes the proposed increases in water charges in Abergavenny Borough, consequent on its inclusion in the Gwent Water Board.
§ Mr. Ifor DaviesNo. The charges referred to by my hon. Friend are minimum and maximum charges within which, it is proposed, the Board would operate. Their reasonableness will be one of the matters for my right hon. Friend to decide in the light of the evidence presented at the public inquiry which is to be held on 30th October.
