§ Mr. CroslandI assume that the hon. Member has in mind paid offices outside the Civil Service. The number of such offices to which I make appointments is 105. Salaries range from £15,000 to £500 per annum, while the holders of a few of these offices are remunerated by fees of £10 10s. 0d. to £18 18s. 0d. per session. Because of changes in the allocation of responsibilities to particular Departments since 1958 it would be impracticable to provide comparable figures for that year.
