§ 90. Mrs. Joyce Butlerasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity if, in view of the continuing discrimination again women in employment as exemplified by the decision of a delegate conference of busmen not to allow women to drive buses, she will now 94W seek to establish an anti-discrimination board.
§ Mr. HattersleyMuch as I regret the attitude taken by certain workers on this matter I doubt whether an anti-discrimination board would be the best means of promoting equality of opportunity for men and women, which in my view will be better served by continuing the development of educational and training facilities on an equal basis.
