asked the Minister of Overseas Development how much aid will be given during the current financial year to Mauritius.

Mr. Prentice

Financial aid amounting to£2½million is available to Mauritius this British financial year. In addition

I hope that much of the£½million Kennedy Round Food Aid offered for the current Mauritius financial year will be provided before 31st March 1969. Technical assistance to Mauritius this year is likely to cost another£200,000.
