HL Deb 26 November 1968 vol 297 cc1199-200WA
LORD GRANVILLE OF EYE

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether it is intended to close or to recondition the Lansdown Railway Station at Cheltenham; and if the former, whether it is intended to build a new station on the site of the present station.

THE PARLIAMENTARY UNDERSECRETARY OF STATE FOR DEFENCE, R.A.F. (LORD WINTER-BOTTOM)

The Railways Board have informed my right honourable friend that they are considering proposals to improve the passenger station at Cheltenham (Lansdown). No decision has yet been taken on the form which these improvements will take.

House adjourned at five minutes past six o'clock.
