HC Deb 25 November 1968 vol 774 cc54-5W
Mr. Dobson

asked the President of the Board of Trade how many firms are eligible in Bristol for the consultancy grants scheme for small firms; how many have applied for information and how many have received grants; what is the total cost of grants authorised to date; and what is the total value of the assignments in Bristol.

Mr. Dell

About 800 firms in the Bristol area are eligible under the scheme and over 400 have applied for details. Up to 22nd November applications from 55 firms involving 62 assignments worth £183,301 had been authorised. The total cost of grants authorised is £82,928.
