§ 49. Mr. Arthur Lewis
asked the Postmaster-General why he officially advised an individual, whose name has been supplied to him, that under the regulations a licence is not needed for a radio device fitted to a car which gives warning of the vehicle approaching a police radar trap; and whether, in view of the fact that this advice is contrary to that supplied by his Department in 1965, he will make a statement.306W
§ Mr. Stonehouse
I can find no trace of my Department advising anybody that it would be legal to use a radio device in such a way without a licence.
