Mr. Farrasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he is aware of the adverse effect that the application of Purchase Tax is having on the development of British-manufactured electric golf buggies, details of one of which have been sent to him; and if he will introduce legislation to exempt such trolleys from Purchase Tax.
