§ Mr. Michael StewartWe maintain the closest contact with all our allies in the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, and in recent weeks I have myself had opportunities for discussing the Non-Proliferation Treaty with my N.A.T.O. colleagues. We took their interests fully into account before reaffirming our decision to ratify the Treaty.
