§ Mr. Brian Parkynasked the Secreary of State for Education and Science if he will introduce legislation to enable him to place under the control of local education authorities all schools the major portion of whose annual running costs are met from public funds.
§ Miss BaconNo. Any action on these lines would need to be considered in the light of recommendations of the Public Schools Commission which is currently considering the future of the direct grant schools.
