§ Mr. Martenasked the Minister of Transport what proposals he has for a by-pass for the Cotswold town of Bur-ford in view of its age and its tourist attraction.
§ Mr. MarshNone. It would be for the Oxfordshire County Council, as the responsible highway authority for the A.361 which passes through Burford, to formulate proposals for a by-pass. So far it has made no such proposals to me with a view to a scheme being considered for a place in the principal road programme.
