§ Mr. CroslandAt constant prices, capital investment by manufacturing industry was 5 per cent. lower in 1967 than in 1966 and little or no change is expected in 1968. In the distributive and service industries there was a 3 per cent. rise between 1966 and 1967 and an increase of about 7 per cent. is expected between 1967 and 1968.
