Mr. Croninasked the Minister of Power what steps are being taken by Her Majesty's Government to maintain recruitment to the coal industries, particularly with regard to juveniles and specialist craftsmen, having regard to the overall decline in manpower and, in some areas, the high level of redundancy.
§ Mr. FreesonRecruitment is a matter for the National Coal Board. They make full use of the services of the Department of Employment and Productivity.
