§ Mr. Geoffrey Lloydasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science, whether the cost of the extension to the free school meals service as from 1st April, 1968 will be fully met by Exchequer grants to local authorities, so as to enable local authorities to keep within the expenditure limits laid down by the Government.
§ Mr. Edward ShortAdditional expenditure by local authorities on the provision of free school meals from 1st April, 1968 was taken into account in the Rate Support Grant Increase Order, 1967.
