Erringtonasked the Secretary of State for Wales whether he is aware that the supply of water for drinking purposes in the Holyhead/Trearddur Bay area is frequently coloured dark brown for long periods; and what steps are being taken to make the water supply at all times fit for drinking purposes.
§ Mr. George ThomasI understand from the Anglesey County Council that the supply given by them to 11 houses in the Trearddur Bay area is discoloured at times. They are satisfied that there is no danger to health but are taking steps to improve the supply.
